Coventry City v Palace

The Ricoh Arena, Wednesday 3.00pm

Jose Fonte

Story so far

Coventry will be looking to 'bounce back' after their weekend thumping by Blackpool.

Not only that, but Kevin Kyle finds himself suspended after seeing red on Saturday.

Coventry have had an interesting few months, what with numerous takeovers starting and stalling, the threat of administration and Dowie threatening to walk out should the club go into Administration.

Fortunately for Coventry, the takeover was completed in time and the Sky Blues didn't have the Administrators popping 'round for a cup of tea.

Coventry's early season form has waned away in recent weeks so it gives Palace the opportunity to push on for another win, although this will be an extremely tough game.

Palace have done nothing but score goals at the Ricoh - we even knocked in eight with Peter Taylor in charge! We'll be very fortunate to hit another four, and Coventry will be very unlucky to concede 8 goals in the space of a week - although it is worth a cheeky bet.

Team news

Defender Jose Fonte is fit again after recovering from a thigh injury.

Tony Craig is still out with his shoulder problem, while Mark Kennedy (Achilles tendon) and Paul Dickov (toe) are still sidelined.

Coventry striker Kevin Kyle is suspended and will sit out the match.

Former Crystal Palace forward Leon McKenzie hopes he can recover from a knee problem to replace him in attack.

Leon Best - 5 0

Palace old boys

Dele Adebola, Leon McKenzie, Wayne Andrews, Julian Gray , Gary Borrowdale, Michael Hughes

The pint-sized Maltesa has been in fantastic form this season, last season - well, wherever he's been really.

Mifsud was voted as Norway's best foreign import in 2006 and is considered as one of Malta's greatest ever players - and he's only 26.

His pace and finishing have been devastating this season - not only in the League but the League Cup as well.

Hopefully the Mosquito will be unable to sting us.
