Peter Ramage has paid tribute to Crystal Palace youngster Jon Williams.
The Welsh wunderkind's second half appearance inspired Palace to come back from two goals down to draw 2-2 against Watford last week.
And defender Ramage said the Eagles could be top of the league had the tricky midfielder not been plagued by injury this season.
"He's one of the best I've ever come across - he's absolutely different class," he said. "He just wants to play football and he just wants the ball at his feet.
"If we'd had him fit for the whole season then maybe we'd been a little bit higher, but now he is fit hopefully we can add a little bit more to what we've got."
Manager Ian Holloway thinks Williams deserves to be promoted from the Wales U21s to the senior side.
He said: "I'd rather see him in the full squad.
"I don't see too many in their full squad better than Jonny - or even as good. He is a fantastic footballer, a great lad."
