Crystal Palace defender SCOTT DANN could be back in action in three weeks.
The former Blackburn star injured his knee medial ligaments during the first half of last Saturday's defeat against Hull City.
A scan revealed a grade one tear on his right knee and he'll now miss games against Chelsea and West Brom.
It comes as a relief to manager Neil Warnock who feared his centre half would be sidelined for months.
"It's a grade one injury, which is the best outcome to have," Warnock told the Advertiser. "It could be three weeks until he's back but then again it could be six.
"When you start training you don't really know, but it's a lot better than I thought. I feared he'd be out for a few months, if I'm honest.
"If he had put a bit more weight on the knee as he's blocked the ball, that might have caused a bit more of a problem."
