Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of former Liverpool goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri until the end of the season.
The 35-year-old was available on a free transfer after he was released by Fluminense at the end of last year, and has been training with the club for the past few weeks.
Cavalieri will provide competition for Wayne Hennessey after Julian Speroni was ruled out for 2 months with a knee injury.
The Brazilian told the Official Palace website: "I am very happy to be here and have been training with the guys for some time now.
"The atmosphere in the dressing room has been really good and they have received me very well so we can talk a lot and get to know everyone. I am very happy with this opportunity."
Meanwhile JORDON MUTCH has signed for Vancouver Whitecaps on loan until the end of the year. The midfielder's last appearance for the club was back in January 2017, and wasn't featuring in any of Roy Hodgson's plans for this season.
