Crystal Palace secured an historic 2-1 victory at Manchester United.

Patrick van Aanholt lashed in a stoppage-time winner to give Palace their first league triumph at Old Trafford for 30 years.

The Eagles shocked the majority of the stadium when Jordan Ayew latched onto Jeffrey Schlupp's flick to put Palace ahead on 32 minutes.

Marcus Rashford then missed a penalty for United in the second half after Luka Milivojevic brought down SCOTT McTominay.

Daniel James looked to have snatched an 89th-minute equaliser for United with a curling strike into the top corner.

But four minutes later, Van Aanholt raced from the halfway line, exchanged passes with Wilfried Zaha and fired beyonf keeper David de Gea at his near post.

Palace: Guaita, Ward, Kelly, Cahill, Van Aanholt, Kouyaté (McCarthy 82), McArthur, Milivojevic, Schlupp (Townsend 80), Zaha, Ayew (Benteke 75).

Not Used: Hennessey, Meyer, DANN, Wickham.

Man United: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw (Young 32), McTominay (Mata 86), Pogba, Lingard (Greenwood 51), James, Rashford, Martial.

Not Used: Romero, Tuanzebe, Matic, Pereira.
