Trevor Francis has said that he is keen for midfielder Jovan Kirovski to stay at Palace.
Kirovski's contract with The Eagles ends at the close of the season, and Francis would like the American to extend his stay in South London.
He told the South London Press, "I'm concerned about the fact that Jovan is approaching the end of his contract."
"The chairman asked me what my views were on Kirovski and I told him that I'd like us to come to an agreement that enables him to stay for a few years.
"He's one that I recommended we keep, so that's an indication that I rate him, and the chairman spoke to his agent last week."
Francis substituted Kirovski at the end of the match against Stockport on Sunday evening - the American international looked far from pleased with the decision, especially when he set up the only goal of the game for striker Dougie Freedman.
