Soon as we are playing derby tomorrow it reminded me of Dean Gordons goal against them in 1993/94 season he scored in the 90th minute & we drew 1-1 & luckily for the people in the Whitehorse there was a net there or someone would of lost there head has anyone got a link for that goal ?

Yes a great goal by Deano.......

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but didn't Kenny Brown score a good goal against them as well?

But it can't beat the goal scored by our skipper a few seasons back:

(apologies for the music choice - best to watch on mute)

It was indeed an awesome goal - it went in like an exocet missile!

I also remember that it was in about the 3rd minute of injury time and laods of supporters missed it because they were heading for the exits!

Moral of the story - always stay till the end. It was without doubt our goal of the season!

Its all just rumours, lets wait and see what happens

I remember it whizzing into the net as I made my way up the Arthur Wait terracing to leave. I also seem to remember that the team skipper told Deano he should never have tried a shot from that range - anyone else remember something like that?

I always remember his goal vs Bolton in the 5-2 loss... he and Marcus Bent scored screamers that are forgotten due to the rest of the game.

Recall his early years he was coming through the ranks as a striker, turned out to be another one of our great left backs.

Also went to school with Deano, Winterbourne Juniors, I remember the Derby game for one reason only, My then future father in law came all the way from Wales to visit and I took him to the match, being elderly I didnt want him caught up in the mad rush and bus queues at the end of the game so left 5 minutes early..........DOH!

Come on the Palace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
