watching at the races the other day and who should pop up for an interview, only barry silkman!
he is now a big wig in horse racing.i remember when he hung up his boots,he went into greyhound training and was very sucessful.
always rated him as a player and remember the bit of bother he and rachid got into(something to do with dodgy bank-notes if i remember)

THE football agent. Jeez, where has the OP need hiding all these years?

Suffice to say I enjoyed watching Silkman is his short stint at the club.

As for his activities as an agent, he has been a massive mover & shaker over the years and responsible for bleeding money out of clubs & fans with his 'over a barrel' methods. I'm pretty sure he and a certain orange ex-chairman don't exchange Christmas cards.

When the dust settles on our time as football fans, I wonder just how revolutionary Malcolm Allison will be considered. He certainly changed things at City and with us. He also happened to sign a certain Mr Silkman all those years ago. Tenuous maybe, but I think there's a link in there somewhere.
