So It's the 1st week in September, FdB has persisted with the 343, and where there are signs for encouragement, we are still played 4 lost 4.
...meanwhile over at newcastle, RafaB has thrown a Sports Direct Chair at Mike Ashley and walked out of the club.

Do we:
Keep faith with FdB or
Get Rafa in at all costs ?

It is a bit ridiculous and totally hypothetical, but interesting all the same. I would like to think De Boer should have more than 4 games (actually it is 3 league games, the other one will be the Cup) by 1st September. But Benitez is a top class manager, and believe it or not we do actually possess a lot of quality players despite what some might think on here. We should be a top 10 club, especially if we can get another goalkeeper, centre back and striker to add to what we have

We stop acting like a crazybadger and we give him our support until at least Nov/Dec. Remember Holloway won 1 in 9.

Should we sack the manager after 4 games? No.

Ffs , he's signed a 3 year deal. It took us 6 weeks to appoint him. You want him gone after 4 games. In which he only managed one. I just want de Boer to be flexible in his line up. He also needs to be backed more in the market. 2 loans and 1 permanent transfer isn't enough. At least give him until November, if he proves you right about not being good enough for us. Then parish will have to act.

i didn't say I wanted him gone - but If Rafa suddenly becomes available - who is a proven PL Manager, and will be snapped up quickly, would you want to miss out on him...chances are he won't be available in November.

I'm putting my faith in FdB - what he wants to build has got great potential - but big risks at the same time.

It'd be an interesting quandary. RafaB is one of those managers that id have here in an instant!

If we wanted prem proven. I'm sure mr parish would of choose Sean dyche. Looking at the team currently struggling, I know it's one game but dyche would of been a safe choice. Parish took a risk and hand mr Boer a 3 year deal, especially with the amount of time pardew received. Highly doubt we'd sack de Boer yet or in a months time.

Get Benitez in because he is proven to be a much better Manager at this high level .

pretty much exactly where I was coming from.
Unlikley to happen, but there aren't many managers who I would even consider dumping FdB for at the moment..and if Newcastle don't get in any Transfers targets before The window shuts, Benitez Might "Do a Pulis"

Thats a fair point, but Benitez is of a much higher pedigree than Dyche ?

Why would we consider taking Benitez he spent a few years and a lot of money at Liverpool and didn't win anything despite all the money he spent,
And he was caretaker manager at Chelsea until the end of a season I cant see why we would fall over ourselves to sign him up, Neither Chelsea or Liverpool fans were that keen on him. and both sets wanted him out, OK he won the championship with Newcastle but that was after taking them down, Lets see how he does this season's The Championship s a far cry from the Premier League.
