I first went to Selhurst Park in the 1959/60 season so I have see a few

1. John [ stonewall ]Jackson
The best keeper ever to grace selhurst park . would have been a full international if England did not have a couple of better keepers at the time

2. Nigel Martin
A great keeper who new how to organise the defence and brave with it

3. Vic Rouse
First keeper I saw so bias but as a 10 year old seem to do everything right

4. Bill Glazer
Swapped placed with VR like VR a no nonsense keeper

5. Nico Vaeson
I could have put a few keepers in at No5 [ neither of our present two ] but Nico [ who was only on loan ] gets it if nothing else because of the saves he did against West Ham in the play off in Cardiff

England did not have a couple of better keepers at the time of ‘Jacko’. If Sir Alf had picked him instead of bonetti for the 1970 world cup as number two to Banks, we would not have lost to West Germany, and that little s*** Gerd Mueller would have been smashed all over the penalty area!

In my time
Jacko
Jules
Nigel
Budgie
Gabor
Liked Tony Burns , thought Paul Hammond was ok , unfortunately the 9-0 at Anfield destroyed Perry Suckling, remember a top save he made against Blackburn in the Play Offs .
David Fry was probably the worst I’ve seen , special mention for George Wood who played in the worst Palace side ever , for a Scottish keeper ,done alright , lost the plot in the end tho

Jacko, by far the best and one of us.
For the rest maybe Martyn as he was picked regularly for England. Nico was just a good keeper but no time here. Hammond could have been the best. Budget a show-off. Woods consistent, Burns a good bloke and Woods a good fill-in for a long time. I quite liked Philips. And an emergency keeper played a couple of blinders but went once the regulars returned he returned (to Halifax I think). Anybody remember Terry Gennoe?

can anybody beat Jules for number of years or number of games ?

certainly he must hold the record of any palace player for number of blokes that have managed him.

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

Not that tall for a keeper.
I recall him walking on his hands as part of his pre-match routine !
Had a plethora of clubs and played in nearly 800 league games covering both England and Scotland.

Ramsey also rated Shilton, Montgomery and Stepney higher at the time
