How sad.I think I saw him make his debut and, quite possibly, his last game for Palace. A pivotal player in 68-69 side.

I recall Cliff Jackson scoring the winner in that dramatic 3-2 win over Fulham in 1969 (We were 0-2 down)to seal our promotion.Both Colin and Tony Taylor played in that game.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

Not only were the Taylor’s not related they weren’t even the same nationality. Colin was English bought from Walsall after he scored the only goal for them in beating us up there - one of his long distant trademark cannonballs - I remember it well as I’d gone up there by coach !Tony was a Scot bought from Morton with John Loughlan our left back.
