After Sheffield FC and Doncaster Rovers Belles withdrew from the league, Palace were invited to enter a team having previously been denied entry to the restructured league. I remember there was another team angling for membership (possibly Sunderland?) but I don't know if the FA is planning on replacing both withdrawals this season. It'll be a tough season with the increased budgets though, and Manchester United have signed a number of England internationals so it's obvious they'll walk the league.

It won’t be. We should have easily qualified based on merit but larger clubs (man united didn’t even have a women’s team) got in based on nothing. We’ll do well

I noticed we sold a couple of players to Charlton. Was that before we were accepted into the new championship?

we lost 3 to charlton inc last seasons top scorer; i stand to be corrected but "sold" is the wrong word to use...contracts run out, players couldnt afford to wait to see what league we were going to be in so they did what was in their best interest, moving not for money but for footballing reasons....
we have signed a couple of new players 1 from spurs the other from Milwall and now our league place is sorted i would assume more will follow..

Yeah with new teams being parachuted into both top flights I suspect many squads will be completely overhauled in the coming weeks. Could even try to approach players from the teams that dropped out like Sheffield, Doncaster and Sunderland if they can be persuaded to move down south. They have WSL2 experience (the Sunderland players WSL1) so would be assets.
