Proper pap from the home of paparazzi without quotes or proof. Didn’t watch the Nigerian friendly so does anyone have a view on Joel?

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

i went to the game and have to say - he didn't stand out...but i was mostly watching to see whether england had a real system/strategy.

At least we only face competition from Porto and benfica and NOT wet spam, although it’s probably just a matter of time before they are in the running........ as they seem to always be for any of our targets.

Is he a better option than Wilshere given the money?

Yes!! That's exactly what I had come here to edit/ add. I'd rather have him than Wilshiregiven Wilshire's salaries, his lack of speed and his feats in a mid-table team (Bournemouth). Obi has proven to be a much better player for a mid-table team.

I must admit that I did look out for him over the World Cup, but I didn't really spot him. I put that down to the fact that the games involving Nigeria couldn't really grab my attention.

Will defer to your greater knowledge on this one though, whilst still secretly hoping that we get Wilshere on a free and Loftus-Cheek on loan.

Chievo bought him for just 2 million. Euros. But they'd probably be willing to sell him for 4-5 million in the future. One to keep an eye on. Curious to see if he keeps up the great level he had with AC Torino.
