A vital,winnable game for us.

Think our recent good performances against top six sides will see us succeed at last, against what many would regard,as mediocre opposition.

2-0.

Watching them against Toon just now and they look seriously toilet. Goal down after three minutes.

A s*** team coming to Selhurst has a home loss written all over it.
That said, 2-0 down now so maybe we'll get a draw, 1-1.

Their strength is in the air up front, so we have to stop crosses coming in to the big forwards. The strikers don't have the pace to get in behind us.

Lay 'bicycle repair man' on one wing, 'est1905' on the other and they can act as 'speed bumps'.

Well they have to get the crosses in first. Which won't be happening on their left of course because they've got Wan-Bissaka there. On the right Townsend might track back a bit.

Most of the crosses that did come in tonight, as well as the corners, were pish.

Oh and if Hart tries playing the creative midfielder role like that then woe betide him. Sakho - Meyer - Zaha - goal.

Newcastle really should have buried them - how did Ritchie miss from one yard? However, we will need to be ready for a battle, as Vokes and Wood will bully our back four if they're not up for a fight. Burnley looked very predictable tonight with an old-school throw it up to the big men routine and very shaky at the back.
