On his LBC show last night, mentioned ,quite off top, how he and his family were Crystal Palace fans in conversation with a caller.

I'm slightly dubious about that. Yes, we're his local side, but if you were to ask him when he last saw a game and who it was against, I think he'd struggle. Mind you, I didn't hear the broadcast, so maybe he said enough then to prove his credentials.

I have been a Palace fan for all my life. Having Farage as a supporter is in NO way an asset, he lies, cheats and is a revolting racist pig. Don't associate all that is great about Palace supporters with this idiot.

Seems every club is blighted with a particularly loathsome high profile 'fan'. David Mellor and Chelsea, Piers Morgan and Arsenal, David Cameron and Villa (or is it West Ham?). Until I hear the odious Farage pontificating on Puncheon's goal drought or mispronouncing Milivojević's name I won't take him as a real fan.
