A big relief as PVA is back, so we actually have a left-back. McCarthy has looked good in all his appearances, and Kouyate performed well previously at CB, so an okay line-up in the circumstances. Very weak bench, though it's nice to see three youngsters there (who will inevitably never be used).

Can only really see Meyer being used out of those subs. Also, why was Mitchell on the bench on Monday but now not there at all?

They are dangerous at corners/free kicks which we will have to look out for. Our makeshift defense might be in for a long afternoon and will need to be strong in the air. COYP !!

Well we have managed to get a side out that looks capable of getting something out of this one . We will probably need to score a couple though so get your shooting boots on . CoyP

Kouyate is a better CB than Dann and McCarthy is better midfielder than Kouyate so 2 nil to us. Benteke to get both

A gamble putting in PVA. Same old from Roy again no surprises here. Why would anyone want to come here when they don't even get a fair chance.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |
