Watching Jezza talk just now in total denial reminded me of the Iraqi spokesman who denied Baghdad was going to fall in the Gulf War and a US helicopter flew past in the background.

Absurdity in action.

Before the Corbynistas all rush to chant the Tory Islamaphobia song, two wrongs don't make a right.

It's a fact the current Conservative front bench is more racially diverse than the Shadow Cabinet but there is no high ground on this. The elected politicians should reflect more or less the general electorate.

The semantics being used to not criticise Corbyn by Labour politicians , and therefore not become proscribed by Momentum and deselected, is a lesson in double speak.

Sooner the GE campaign is over the better.

Just a few observations.

It's about time White and atheist/agnostics people started worrying about their own interests and closed their ears to the perpetual whine of minority interests.
They all want what is good for them and no one else.
Well, fair play to that but I am part of the majority in this country and I don't want my political future decided by 15% of the population, whatever religion or race they belong to.

When the Human Rights Commission announced an investigation into Labour I heard a journalist give a good appraisal of why Labour and not also the Tories.

Firstly the MO of the commission is to look unofficially at complaints. This is to try and stop people making false claims and the media damaging reputations by reporting that they are investigating. So when they announce an investigation it means that the claims are sufficiently credible to warrant an official investigation.

Secondly they are investigating the procedures and structures an organisation has for dealing with complaints not the complaints.

If you take 3 years to investigate all types of complaints then that is sloppy and unprofessional but not necessary racist / biased. If however certain types of complaints are consistently delayed whilst other types are fast tracked that is what they are really worried about.

He then gave a specific example which proved to be remarkably accurate a few days later.

Less than 48 hours after Alistair Campbell said he didn't vote Labour he was expelled from the party, yet Labour are sitting on approximately 3000 complains relating to anti Semitism dating back 3 years that is what the commission will be concerned about.

The commission is realistic it knows that in any large public organisation there will always be people with some very odd views. The question is how quickly and fairly these people are dealt with.

So far I have seen no evidence that the Tories are dragging their heels when complaints are made but if they are no doubt they to will also get a knock on the door.

Right now Labour are in trouble on this issue they know it and are trying to deflect it on to the Tories.

The left always eat their own.

That's what you're seeing with Labour.

Essentially the 'ism' has become weaponised over decades now.....It's basically about finger pointers and most of it is overblown and given way too much power....but if you buy into it eventually the finger gets pointed at you.

So feck em.

I had to smile at todays Daily Politics in their section on racism as the Tory was having a dig at Labour's anti Semitism and The lefty was going on about the Tory's anti Islam but Owen Jones was working himself up into a lather over Boris referring to gay men as bum boys

Ha ha. The circle of disgust.

The LGBTQ’ers must ignore they’re hearing anything the moment Islamic homophobia or labour anti semitism gets mentioned. Priceless stuff.

It amuses me when all these lefty Corbyn apologists say he is a man of peace and an anti racist yet I don't ever recall hearing reports of anti Semitism in the Labour party pre Corbyn, they have only started since he has become leader.

and also do not forget Corbyn's dalliance with IRA types.

the fact that these 'types' get only a tiny following of votes among the irish community on either island seems to be lost on Corbyn. Even the irish PM now wears a Poppy in the Dail. The younger generations happily know precious little about 'The troubles'.

The acceptable face of virulent anti-British sentiment is on the football/rugby pitch...this is not the 1970's. The Good Friday agreement has saved lives , does Jeremy wish to rock the boat ?

I am heartened to see sensible and measured replies to my post.

Thank you all for contributing.

And I posted before the motorway pile up of the Andrew Neil interview. I based my points on what he had said in the morning.

For balance I think Gove was an idiot for trying to engage in grime speak after the Stormzy tweet, just makes Gove look stupid and in this case he was.

I am back in UK for Xmas and very curious to see what the atmosphere is when I land on 17th December.

Going to Spam game on 26th Dec and Norwich on Jan 1st

I was hoping for a repeat of the Sky news hissy fit but Headmistress Jo kept him firmly in place.

She is very good and has picked up extra skills from Andrew Neil.

I still laugh when I remember the " assault " on Owen Jones self described as " carried out with military precision". Of the many things I am sure Owen Jones knows nothing about military precision would be high on the list.

The court date is December 4th so we will get some more info soon
