I think that may be Lucas frustration at passing the free kick to a player in the Villa wall and then running 60 yards and brought Watkins (the diving moaning cheat) down. It was a free kick but thats it as he won the ball initially but went through the back of the player.
Hardly an FA charge.
Nothing else in the game other than Villas petty fouling in breaking up the flow of the game and time wasting.

Ive just looked at footage from the game 2mins either-side of the 54th & 55th mins, the only thing i can deduce is, its for surrounding the ref trying to get oppo players booked/sent-off & general argy-bargy.

Now, if this is the case, i wonder if Manure/Chelski/Citeh etc etc get the same charge levelled at them? Be interesting to know.

E20.1 that its directors, players, officials, employees, servants, representatives, spectators, and all persons
purporting to be its supporters or followers, conduct themselves in an orderly fashion and refrain from
any one or combination of the following: improper, violent, threatening, abusive, indecent, insulting or
provocative words or behaviour, (including, without limitation, where any such conduct, words or
behaviour includes a reference, whether express or implied, to any one or more of ethnic origin, colour,
race, nationality, religion or belief, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation or disability)
whilst attending at or taking part in a Match in which it is involved, whether on its own ground or
elsewhere;

Could this also be down to the 'chanting' of fans? ie Villa's homophobic chant towards CG?

Wasn’t that Leeds fans? Nothing in that game warranted a charge except the inept refereeing

I also cannot understand this but if the FA are looking at the teams-How about the referee-Why hasn't he been charged as well?
For not conducting himself in an orderly fashion from the second minute organisation of Villa's free kick to playing advantage to Palace in the second half?
Complete 'A' grade Wally is what he was!!!!

If anyone contributed to the players thinking they could 'play up' because it was his first Premiership game it was the FA themselves for thinking he was fit, ready and able to take the pressure of the match.
They should be charging the assessors who claimed he was ready not the bloody players!!!

I Wish we had a player like that to be honest! as much as i hate it in the game I wish our players did it more! or at least of fouled at corners make a meal out of it so var dissallows the goals like other teams do!

Yes, you're right Spider, it was Leeds, my apologies. According to the bbc it was for surrounding the ref . . .

Maybe it was to do with the Villa fan getting into the Whitehorse?
Or abusing a rookie ref who has a lot to learn including his reporting

Think they need to watch the game and then look at the referee based on his performance, it was straight off the Purley way playing field…. Comical!
