Hobart may yet host the final test but whilst I can see us winning one test I think that a series loss is inevitable.

Probably the least prepared, most distracted squad to have been sent over - what with all that's going on it would have perhaps been better to have billed the tour as something less auspicious -

(Acknowledging that the Ashes series needed to be shelved at least until Covid was in hand)

In any event given that we are there & its clearly considered an Ashes tour I will be grateful if we can limit the damage as much as possible ( get some assistance from the weather) & perhaps get away by avoiding a complete whitewash.

I haven't looked at the timeline but I would imagine that by the time the racism investigation started & had gathered sufficient momentum it was probably already too late to pull out of it.
