Just been thinking about this as a few players in their late teens/early 20s are starting to break through in the top 2 tiers having originally spent their childhoods/early teens in the youth system at Cray Wanderers before getting snapped up by bigger teams. Couple of notable examples:

Nathan Baxter - on the books of Chelsea, on loan at Hull City
Marc Guéhi - currently at Palace and full England international
Darko Gyabi - just made his Leeds debut, England youth international
Kwame Poku - Actually stayed at Cray long enough to make a senior appearance, currently at Peterborough but highly rated. Ghana international.

They tend to have a few posts on their Twitter accounts about how former youth team products are doing too - I think one of them was on the books of Norwich recently too? But they're definitely doing something right in their youth teams, that much is certain.

I think they are about to start building a new stadium on the A20 near five ways in Eltham; just before the golf centre. The billboard shows an impression of the new stadium
Must have a decent amount of dough behind them.
