He looks similar to Sarr in terms of height and build (both 6'2" and gangly). From YouTube he looks like he'd definitely add something, but eur36 million seems like a lot for a club our size. I'm sure the price being talked about was higher when United were interested too?

It's made up. Don't believe it for one second. That's how rumours work, especially with Palace. You don't have to justify yourself because even denials from managers over transfers are often seen as questionable.

The overwhelming majority of threads in transfer talk are borne out of similar (or even weaker) rumours. Just because a tabloid puts it up on their online report it doesn't make the rumour any more valid.

As to their truth we'll never know. Gakpo looks a very good player to me and is highly rated by many. Seems like the world and their mother are in for him though which never bodes well for us if there is any truth in these mutterings
