The highlights really didn’t show the highlights that I saw at the ground But I ask ……. Was Richards v Mc Tominay really a pen - Talksport are crapping on about it plus all the Utd supporters ? Was Zaha last seconds run in the box a Pen or did he just loose balance ( this was not on highlights caption ) ? Forever Palace Proud

Was Richards v Mc Tominay really a pen - Talksport are crapping on about it plus all the Utd supporters ?

Was Zaha last seconds run in the box a Pen or did he just loose balance ( this was not on highlights caption ) ?

Niether were pens , Richards dispite the clearly blind pundits opinions clearly got a touch on the ball . The Zaha incident was a great tackle by AWB , Wilf said after the game he looked round and saw Arron and knew it was coming , praising his former team mate as being the only player proficient in the 'scoop tackle '

"It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"

the Richards one was not a clear error from The Ref. it's one of those that VAR shouldn't be overturning regardless of the decision of the ref.

"It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"

Zaha was half way towards getting a penalty - he was definitely excessively leaned on without any attempt to win the ball - until the Man U defender unleashed his go-go-gadget legs to take the ball cleanly. It was a great tackle under a lot of pressure. When I realised who the defender was, I literally said out loud 'of course it f***ing is!' Would love AWB back.

Zaha was half way towards getting a penalty - he was definitely excessively leaned on without any attempt to win the ball - until the Man U defender unleashed his go-go-gadget legs to take the ball cleanly. It was a great tackle under a lot of pressure. When I realised who the defender was, I literally said out loud 'of course it f***ing is!' Would love AWB back.

I thought their's was 100% a penalty. After the replay, there is an angle where possibly he does touch the ball, but equally it could just be the movement of the ball bobbling along. Regardless of whether it was or wasn't a foul, you have to acknowledge that these are generally given. The VAR feedback seemed to be that there wasn't a 'clear and obvious error' - which is slightly different from them saying it's definitely not a foul. Still, Manchester united have recently benefited from the new Old Trafford Extra 2 Metres Off Side Rule, so f*** 'em.
