Contract renewals in January?

according to transfermarkt we have a number of contracts to renew, delay and risk leaving on a free or delay and allow the player to leave on a free or sell. Speroni Let's assume that we really will buy a keeper, midfielder and a striker this time. I suspect that Hennessey & Lapado will be sold in January to make space in the squad. Then either Timmy returns to United or maybe Damo loses his squad place or maybe we sign a U23 I don't believe too much should change at once, it needs to be evolution not revolution Parrot

Wayne's going nowhere in January- we need 3 keepers. Roy has said as much as well.

I wonder if he will sign a new contract though. He has some pretty bad feedback at matches. Bristol city was terrible. Parrot

Also Wardy's contract runs out in the summer. Loftus-Cheek's loan ends with Chelsea this summer. Wardy to stay I'm sure. RLC, will go back to Chelsea & try to get in the side?

Why leave yourself exposed?

If we're serious about progression, I think we should only keep Yohan, Macca and Ward. The rest simply arent good enough, even as squad players, perhaps Sako at a push. It would give us great room to manoeuvre in the transfer market next summer as wages would be freed up and provide us with the opportunity to improve on that first XI. We should be doing everything in our power to get RLC to stay, maybe even TFM, depending on how much they would cost... Edited by SeagullHunter (17 Dec 2017 7.49pm)
