Doesnt sound promising as he failed to impress when on loan at Watford. But good luck to Steve Parish and BFS in their attempts to sign some players. Apart from Brady, they all appear to be cheapo options. BFS has a decent record in signing players so lets hope he does the same for Palace!

I am sure you are not the first person to say it but I agree I think the "rumours" we are hearing about in the press are a little cheapo.

Moult - Cheapo
Collins - Cheapo

Lampard - Average
Brady - Average
Chambers - Average
Jerome Roussillon - Average

Van Aanholt - Decent
Gibbs - Decent
Mitrovic - Decent
Paul-georges Ntep - Decent

You look at that lot and then think carefully about which ones we might actually get and you would be looking at the top of the list and not the bottom...but again these are paper rumours and we all know what they are worth.

A good summary. The only 'good news' I guess is that there must be a lot of activity behind the scenes - and BFS and Parish seem to be working 24/7

Lets hope some of them come off pdq!

SP said we will have one in for the West Ham game so I guess that first signing might be the first real signal the fans have of what sort of Jan window we can expect.

I first became aware of Geoffrey during a frenzied game of backgammon with an elderly Rastafarian gentleman outside a pub in Hackney. During the game, the old geezer brought out a rather suspicious looking cigarette and began to smoke it, causing large clouds of noxious smoke to billow around the table. As time went on and to my utter astonishment, the smoke clouds began to swirl and form into a face, a face which I now know to be that of Mr Geoffrey Mujangi Bia.

The cloud-face began to move it's lips as though trying to speak, but no words were audible. Suddenly, I noticed the elderly Rasta's eyes rolling in the back of his head and a strange, guttural, slightly Belgian-sounding voice began to boom from his open mouth.

The voice informed me that Geoffrey Mujangi Bia was born on the 12th August 1989 and is a Belgian international footballer who plays as a winger for Swiss club FC Sion.

By now the spectacle had attracted quite a crowd, who listened intently as the cloud-man's vessel dictated how Mujangi Bia had established himself in Belgian football with Charleroi before experiencing the English Premier League with a loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The possession ended as abruptly as it had started, with the final words lingering on in the stunned silence outside the pub. The words were as follows: " During the 2014/15 season Bia scored 14 and created a further 7 goals for Standard Liège "

Based on what I have heard, I don't think that this chap meets the level required for Palace. Not good enough for Watford, not good enough for us. It's a no from me.

Cheapo options are probably he only ones who will consider coming to us in our current situation.

I used to really like Mujangi Bia. He was amazing in both Belgium and Switzerland leagues. Not sure if PL quality though.
He's had a lousy year in Turkey, they've hardly used him. Would be a very cheap and welcomed option anyway. Miles better than Chungy
