Haven’t seen one of these from the Leicester game, mods please merge if I have missed it.

Overall a cracking win, my views on the players below:

Hennessey 7: Not much to do in all honesty and what he needed to he did well. One dodgy moment in the first half when he played a poor pass to Sakho, then in the second half he dropped the ball, but got away with it. Overall a decent performance.

Ward: 9. Massively important goal line clearance and overall did well. Dummy-ish run was important for the second goal. Solid in defence.

Tomkins: 8. Good aerially. Looked comfortable all game.

Sakho: 7. Did well except for one dodgy backpass in the first half and one moment in the penalty box that lead to a Vardy shot. Nice assist for our 4th somewhat evens that up.

Van Aanholt: 10. Seemed to relish the game today. Was involved in the build up for the first 2 goals then scored one off his right foot too in the second half. Clean sheet too, good job Pat.

Jimmy Mac: 10, great performance. Goal and an assist. Covered every blade. Back to his best.

Yohan Cabaye: 9. Top performance. Took the ball in difficult situations and pass completion was very high. One moment in the first half he shut down a breakaway single handed plus put in some tasty challenges.

Luka: 9. Standard great performance. He is also able to take the ball in difficult situations. Him and Cabaye owned central midfield today.

Loftus-Cheek 9. One of his best games and close to motm. Got a cooly taken goal but more importantly had a hand in setting up the first and second from down his side. This guy is class.

Zaha: 8. Crucial first goal plus assist in the first half. Some great moments of skill as usual. A bit quieter second half but job was done by then.

Townsend: 7. Industrious as ever, maybe a touch off it in an atracking sense today, but did provide a threat and always a willing runner in defence.

Vive le Roy!
