Surely they should all be singing 'Don't Look Back in Anger' and lighting candles?

Not trams. Or buses. Or police cars.

On the basis that the crowd know more than the media are reporting, we assume that the murderer is ‘not of Irish decent’. Doubtless the counter demonstrators will follow at some point, informing us all that refugees are welcome.
I hope that I have the above incorrect.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

I think the Irish should focus on the fact that the cultural enrichment of their nation means they can now buy couscous in the supermarket.

Because surely that negates any minor inconveniences like kids getting stabbed at school?

I was supposed to go into the office today but ended up waking up late and worked from home. I would have been stuck in the middle of it all comming home.

Shocking scenes. That's not the way to protest over the stabbings of children. A vigil outside the hospital would be more appropriate and then a peaceful protest to the dail would achieve more.

Lowlife scumbags who dont have any jobs are the ones rioting. And they give out about the immigrants are not making the country safe all the while burning down their own city.

That is right. Maybe all hold hands as well? And lighting up monuments in the colours of the Irish tricolour? That really shows them that people are jolly cross and has an impact. Seriously changes politician's minds and makes them think twice about encouraging people from alien cultures to come and live in the West.

Unfortunately, that would achieve nothing.

The 'don't look back in anger' thing was a security services set up.....That's exactly the reaction they encourage and invest in.

I am sorry but violence is not the answer. It never is. Tomorrow the news will be about thugs rioting and burning the city rather than the innocent children battling for their lives in the hospital right now.

Very true but causing damage by protesters seems to be the new normal; BLM, XR etc., so this response is not unsurprising.

Luckily it wasn't full on terrorism. Just the usual mental health issues.
I mean in Ireland, Steakknife would have let us know at least an hour beforehand. We're just not used to these kind of things and we're always up for a riot. We may as well be French.
