As recent conquerors of Man City, imagine how many WE would put past Burton!

But us bashing southend 8-0 was ok then.
Burton actually had the nerve to attack.
Thats what you get im afraid.
Professional pride.
Shame other sides dont try it.
City can do that to anyone and they were lucky it wasnt more.

Agree, they were clearly playing for a tenth and and even further humiliation.
Empathy indeed.

As was I. On the coach home, I did the old ‘mock waking up from a bad dream routine’. I said to my mates, with an air of relief, “oh God; I just dreamt I was on a Palace coach on the way home from Anfield after a10-0 thrashing. Thank GOD it was just a dream!” They fell about...but on reflection, you probably had to be there.

It was an enjoyable match - we sang we're gonna score in a minute for around twenty minutes after the final whistle. Off to Anfield next week. Hope to see some of you there. Don't think it will be 9-0.
