However, these are the standards on 'phobias' that Galloway himself signs up to as he's always shouting about racism and Islamophobia or whatever phobia himself.

So he has little tolerance himself so what goes around...

Didn't see a single Israel banner at the final, can't find a single one when he told Alan Sugar to google it and "he'd find loads". Yes they have been at games before but what exactly is wrong with it? I've seen Serbia flags for Luka at our games, is that racist as well?

Galloway objects to the treatment of Palestine.
I'm sure many people, if they were honest, share that concern on a human level.
Unfortunately, life ain't that simple. Palistine is not a friend to the West and Israel is.

The whole Jewish thing is incidental in the situation, unless you want to question the formation of Israel in the first place. I guess the world was in a place where it thought that Jews deserved a bit of slack since 6 million of them had just been exterminated.

It's always easy to revisit decisions with hind sight and criticise I suppose.

The Left are subjected to claims of Anti Semitism because they are being held to the same standards that they have imposed on everyone else.

Galloway of course loves a bit of controversy and a fight and has an eternal fixation on Israel, so this is to be expected from him. He was probably envious of Danny Baker's headlines!

But yes I think you strike the right balance. If we revel in these firings left, or right, then we support that whole dynamic. Being in favour of free speech is null and void if you're whacking one off to consequences for speech you don't personally like. The feelz before realz crowd.

While I'm obviously not a fan of about 90 percent of his politics I do kind of like watching Galloway and I listened to his show from time to time.

Great English skills and intelligent.....says what he thinks....not PC. All attributes I like in a politician.
