Whilst I share the frustration mate. The cup wasn't actually there for the taking. We went out to a team higher placed in the league who we were drawn away from home to.
Even if we had won we would still needed to have won two more games. Having never won it in our 114 year history I don't really see why this year it was there for the taking.

If the draw was at home then I'd agree we were away.. Where our best performances are.. Watford weren't brilliant we were poor yet again... Poor management decisions ie subs lack off and the time he done it... When we went 1-1,Roy should have brought Benteke or Wickham went to 442 and took it to them... BUT NO

I still beleive it was our name on the cup in 2016. It was only clattenberg that funked it up. Back then we had a worse squad and we made it to and scored in the final. This year could have been so much better but we didnt obviously put enough effort in. (except the fans)

To win any match you need to put in 100% effort, show desire to win and be tactically set up to win. Regretfully we failed on all 3 counts.....AGAIN!

I went to all the cup games and you are right about our support we definitely gave it our all, not saying the players didn’t but we missed two of our best players and we are still a bit up and down in a very competitive league

We should have kicked on from last season and be aiming for 10th not battling relegation. A shame the performances in general and management decisions have not matched the quality of our support especially at home.

I can see where you are coming from but I don’t think we are far from being a much better team perhaps a better link between the midfield and striker with a bit less reliance on Wilf and we could be up with what Watford have done this season. It’s quite fine lines between us now and kicking on, so let’s not get too impatient as chopping and changing can obviously be just as damaging.
