Possible loans from Man United

Obviously our defence is looking pretty suspect with both full backs less than ideal and injuries in central defence. Hard to see Hodgson gibving the youth players much chance With Man United having purchased Maguire and Wan-Bissaka, they are going to be looking to trim their squad. Although Fosu-Mensah had an iffy season at Fulham, he is still young, relatively cheap, knows the lads and probably is at least as good as Ward. He could also fill in at centre-back. United would also like to shift Rojo and that might be reflected in any fee given his wages. He might be an upgrade on PVA and be first choice to deputize in the middle Personally, I would much rather they bought a decent right back and midfielder and potentially use Kouyate in central defence but that may no longer be feasible

Not many options though. I mean like....TFM and Rojo. They'll probably send Angel Gomes or Greenwood on loan too, but we'd just be raising their players, with no chance to buy. I've always liked Rojo's fighting spirit and yes, he can play both center back and left back. But is pretty injury prone. They could though let him go on a free or for very cheap. At least this was reported a few months ago, that they want a meager 5-6 million. However, recent news suggest they're asking for 25 million: [Link] No surprise they still have the player, nobody will pay that, let'em have him. TFM, like you say, is at least as good as Ward as a backup and can also play center back. But I think they want to charge A LOT on TFM.

No surprise they still have the player, nobody will pay that, let'em have him.

TFM, like you say, is at least as good as Ward as a backup and can also play center back. But I think they want to charge A LOT on TFM.
