Per the BBC football site the LMA will meet on Monday to vote on whether or not to support a " closed door " completion of season.

LMA Chief Executive Richard Bevan says if voted down then the most likely result will be " cancellation " of the unfinished season. There is no definition of what " cancellation " would mean, but if it means no relegation then I can see no reason why the current bottom seven would support the proposal. 14 is the number of votes required for the proposal to pass.

Clubs will want to know in advance of the vote what the result will mean going forward

14th place only 7pts above relegation zone and very much in the battle with so many points still available

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The bottom 6 are in danger of relegation, not the bottom 7.

Maybe they’d like a big cut in wages if this is their decision. I’m not really bothered but Parish is right that football will be damaged with no football. (Or football without relegation. Not sure if he said that or not.) I expect his view or concern would change if we were in danger.

Agreed.
We really have to have consequences if football is to resume and if it is not because the bottom 6 vote against it then they should be publicised and penalised

If there are seven votes against and the season is cancelled, how can those teams be " punished " and by who?

Every team must vote to protect their own interest.

14 wins. The 6 need a 7th.

If played at neutral venues then one team has had home advantage out of two games.

Surely this is an un fair or at least not a consistent result to determine final league standings.

What's the point of a vote then?

I would agree . Unless the season is completed in a normal ,home and away format the rules of the competition have changed and will be unfair to some clubs . Relegation is the big issue but there is big bucks at stake with European qualification as well .

It would be a miracle if every club agrees on a format to complete the season or even if there is a workable one within government guidelines (Sunday?). I suppose when we know exactly what they are voting on we can agree or disagree

And we still need a striker
