Has anyone got any thoughts about how the current lamentable situation ( most of all no RB replacement) could be rescued through some sensible loans?

Don’t think you can bring loa players in either. Otherwise everyone would just do the deal as a loan with option to buy...

Think the only signings we can make are for free agents.

Might be wrong but think that’s all that’s allowed now.

Can't loan players anymore. It was deadline of everything. Maybe only if a goalkeeper gets injured (not that I wish it for them), through special permission.

Deadline passed. Though why the f*** didn't we get in some cheap young loan players??

I'm thinking we need to take two Premier League loans this season (I believe that is the max? ). I suspect there will be some decent ones available plus teams will actively want to reduce wage bill.
The Liverpool youngsters look good - a couple of wingers there. A couple of attacking minds at Chelsea spring to mind too. I suspect we will loan Gallagher, perhaps option to buy. I'm thinking then perhaps I think Barnes or Wilson from Liverpool. I guess Wilson has grown as a footballer over the season.
We could, of course loan a striker or full back but suspect we will (fingers crossed) sign Fergusons from West Brom.
Anyway, loans - there must be some players who would help our squad next season?

Wilson who from Liverpool?? Harry Wilson?

They're looking to cash in, not loan,he is already 22-23. They want at least 20 million,if not more. Bournemouth will go down and not be able to pay.

Lad is very good, would be a good signing, even if the price is high.

Well it isn't Sgt. Wilson but he's probably more our style.

Well at least one Palace team is signing players I think the ladies are up to their 3rd signing in the last few days.

Here's hoping that it's catching.

Doubt loan players will be allowed anymore. Most things aren’t if you follow the rules. There isn’t a day goes by that most of us break the law somewhere. Guaranteed ALL drivers break the law every time they go on the road.

I haven't seen anything about ending loans. I'm expecting it to be common this season as teams try to limit expenditure.

Agreed I think that some clubs will be desperate to reduce their wage bill and offload whilst others will not want to make any long term commitments until the financial situation stabilizes.

The type of player going on loan may actually be a better quality than previous seasons.

We can but hope, but the chances are that the better ones will go elsewhere in the EPL
