So with the current season coming to an end there are a number of players being released from clubs worldwide. Just curious about people's opinions are about the following potential free agents subject to salary. Whether they would be interested to come to us is another thing which is why I've left off higher profile players Adam Reach - Sheff Wed

I apologise for the mistake with Batshuayi. I was reading an old article that stated that his contract is expiring.

Not sure what kind of pay package he'd want but a one year deal for Ryan Bertrand would be a good idea. The rest of them I wouldn't say yes.

I'm still not convinced in Mitchell as first choice LB. There are certain that I'd definitely wanted him over PVA for his defensive qualities but he needs to improve on the attacking aspect of play. The other point is he gets injured every 10-12 games, so we'd need to cover. I'd take boateng if wages were sensible. He's not the boateng of 2014 but I always tend to view these things from the perspective of would it be an improvement of what we got above all else, and him to the CB mix is a resounding yes

Also Hannam would be my choice of back-up. He's very good going forward. Also, Mitchell's attacking play is improving all the time. IMO we have more pressing needs for our limited budget than Bertrand or any other LB. Must bolster our CBs and attacking midfielders first and then think about upgrading our wide players.

I know this page is just for fun but I am pretty sure that if any pundit gets an accurate connection with the club it is either 1st class journalism or pot luck. Our club keeps things very close to its chest for very good reasons. I am pretty sure we have had situations where we have done months of due diligence and negotiations only for the player heading south for his medical suddenly diverting East lured by the sound of Bow Bells. What we read is agents feeding papers to apply leverage in actual negotiations elsewhere. Chucking in a team playing in the biggest waged league as ficional competition may better the terms they finally agree with Dijon.
