Possibly we won't offer him enough to extend and with only a year left and it being unlikely we'll put him in the first-team squad we're happy to come to an arrangement. Get a decent sell-on percentage in any deal, plus possibly a small fee. Then again it may be agent talk and he ends up signing an extended deal next week.
