I must confess to not having bought a newspaper in many a year, I do however look online. I think these days they are a pretty sorry bunch but one paper stands out from the crowd as simply awful.

The Daily Express

In theory I am their target reader as it is a right of centre paper. Online however it is northing more than one of those click bait ads you see promising one thing then not delivering.

The paper is obsessed with Brexit which even for a leaver like me is too much. I'm surprised that they don't get sued for the headlines alone which are way over the top.

It's all about hyperbole for examples "Barnier caves in on fishing rights". When you read the text however some politician who is not part of the decision making process has suggested that Barnier has to give in if they want a deal so the headline and the detail bear no reality.

Some of the other tabloids are bad but they know their audience if you want T&A you buy the Daily Star. The Express is supposed to be a paper aimed at middle Britain frankly I'm surprised it is still going.

What's your worst paper then and please make a good argument we can all say this paper is rubbish because it supports that party.

Well I think you are right who buys them anymore, the newspaper used to be a part of the day.

I couldn't think of a labour paper as such, the Mirror used to be, but it feels like all the others.

I often get links to newspapers and they want you to pay but I can't be bothered, I have read the news for free anyway.

The Express why do they carry on like it, their circulation has plunged so much, once it was on everybody's breakfast table.

For populist scaremongering and malinformation surely it is The Mail.

What a stupid phrase.

In Britain, it seems common among the young to politically naive as it always has but sadly, there are some oldies who never get their heads out of their proverbial arses either.

They probably read that garbage that is The Guardian.

Who actually reads tabloids anyway? They are aimed at the uneducated.

The Guardian is like Gary Linekar on drugs and attending a LGBT-BLM-Antifa vegetarian restaurant.

The Mail has an agenda but so does the Guardian. If you want scaremongering look at the Daily Mirror it is the ying to The Mail's yang.

They basically print opinion pieces by angry looking, shaven-headed women or skinny men in hemp t-shirts and present them as facts about their trinity of evil: Trump, Brexit and Boris.
However, there is the odd story worth reading, but becoming less and less so.
All papers seem to strive to find an angle on every story these days. Part of the polarisation process.

I tend to go with the Express as being the worst of the worst, again with me probably being within their target demographic. It is just a shocking newspaper on every level. Very rarely bother with the Mail at all and probably glance at a tabloid once or twice a year now.

The Guardian is dreadful but serves a purpose in offering an understanding of how the enemy are thinking or what the current tide of the Progressive Zeitgeist is. If I were on the Left I would probably see the Guardian as much of a hindrance as a help given that it really does champion the sort of centrist bollocks that any left winger worth their salt would despair of.

I subscribe to 'The Times' as I think it still gets some of the best insights although the Telegraph is probably the best informed, at least in terms of what the current Government is doing, and their sources appear the most kosher.

A painter that used to work for me had the Independant most days & would sit & highlight items in it, leaving on display on his dashboard of his van.
A popular game was to nick it & replace with the sun or the daily star.
Used to seriously upset him

I'd say the express or star is the worst(by far)

Are you going to actually say something? Seems you are very angry but not quite sure exactly what you are arguing with and why. The sun must have gone in, so your shadow isn't around to shout at.
