If Burnley fail to win on Saturday it will only be the third time in English football history that 3 teams from the top flight have failed to win after 8 games.

I predict Burnley will play their usual 4-4-2 with Wood and Barnes as the twin strikers and deploy their usual direct style. I am not as confident as some who are expecting us to win.It is going to be a stern test.

Bit early for me but they will definitely see this as winnable, and try to play a physical, bullying game.

Burnley are without a win this season. What better team to be playing to break a hoodoo than crystal palace. 1-0 to the clarets, dodgy VAR pen.

Burnley have been awful in the games I've seen them in. A lack of signings and a seeming lack of quality seems to be finally catching up with them. They are tough to break down though and we have looked vulnerable at times when teams go direct, so this will unlikely be a walk in the park. Nevertheless, I still think we'll edge this one with a forgettable 1-0.

Whatever the score, I wouldn't want Sean Dyche as our next manager. That at least, is a bonus for Palace. But this is a prediction thread, so I'll go for a second 1-4 win on the trot.

Hodgson predicted Leeds would give us space to play on the ground vs leeds, and he set up to play that way by selecting ball players.. like Eze My fear is that he will not see this game in the same way so Eze will be Dropped for Schlupp. I really hope this doesn't happen. Either way, I can see it being a very difficult game, only 1 goal, if at all.
