Although i think this has been an outstanding transfer window, i hope that we will see a some of our better youngsters on the bench for a bit of game time,
Rak-Sakyi, Banks, Hannam, O´Brien,Imray, Omilabu, even Rich-Baggypants

Think there is a plan, exposure (i.e. from subs bench) to 1st team matches for them, they need that experience and the new players working together, to bring them on.

Right now they are not ready for full exposure to 1st team.

The future so much brighter... lets hope it can be pulled off.

So much light in the tunnel, Roy had so little!!

Keep an eye out for Danny Imray a right back. Not featured much this season so far as he is returning from a bad ankle injury. Tony Gale who keeps in contact with Ray Lewington, saw him play for our under 23's last season and thinks he will be a top player. Hope its true and he eventually solves our right back problems. If Ferguson can also get fit, it looks very exciting

If you'd been able to watch any of pre-season or any of U23's/18's matches, you would already know the answer.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi . . . By a county mile.

Followed very closely by Scott Banks.

Really want to see Rak-Sakyi gradually introduced into the fold this season. A huge talent.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Scott Banks was playing in midfield when I watched him and Raki was playing inside forward. Have we got any speedy out and out wingers?

WINGERS?

Don't know about "wingers" but we have plenty of w(h)ingers on here, although not quite so many it seems after our superb window

Realistically, the majority of that group lost 3-0 last night to the team currently bottom of League 2. Hopefully the best few will get some League 1 loan deals in January and start to get some more experience, but I wouldn't expect large swathes of that group to be making up Premier League squads this season.

Rak-Sakyi and maybe Hannam (due to a lack of competition) likely to be the only ones to be seen regularly, and more likely if we end up with a few no-pressure games towards the end of the season.

It'll be good experience for that group playing U23s against a good standard this year, as well as Wimbledon & Portsmouth - the results already show they're challenging games for them.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

Throughout the pre season Rak-Saki, has been the stand out, but even he had a very quiet game against Sutton. In the most part the rest are still some way off. If Hannam, ever had the form to be considered , right now he would struggle on a Div 2 loan. Banks, has been lauded but again recent form in the under 23s would suggest he needs shaking up even for a similar type loan.
The Papa John, competition will be good experience of playing against competitive men for them , if nothing else. The Sutton, game was men against boys, if we put these lads into the Premier, it becomes super men against boys , and they haven’t shown they can outdo the men yet.
