So we play the World Club Champions and sadly,cannot see anything other than a home defeat coming our way,say 3-1.

At least they will give us the chance to play football, it will be up to us to show what we can do. if we can keep it tight from corners and find our shooting boots we can give them a game.

We've just played two poor teams and drawn. We are playing slow predictable toothless football and we will be without Gallagher, so conclusion? We will shock everyone and win, because we are Palace and we do the unexpected like beating the PL champions on their own turf without conceding for our only PL away win. Time to beat the new World Club Champions! (I can dream - I do think, though, that whatever the result, we will continue our run of scoring in home games).

Brighton have drawn both home and away with Chelsea since Christmas - OK, their project may be a bit further along the road than ours, but anything they can do we can do, so it's 1-1 for me. Edited by Oxford Don (13 Feb 2022 11.54am)

I predict we will lose, i predict the HOL will be awash with negativity, i predict Wardy will be singled out for grief & i predict a red card, who, im not sure, but Wilf looks favourite atm. In predicting all that, i do agree with Doombear, its just like us to go & beat them.

Connors, absence will force Macca back into the starting 11. Viera might also bring in Kouyate for Jeff to give the midfield more bite. I think we'll get something out of this.
