Whilst we all pretty much know the length of the contracts for the first team squad, the academy is a different story. I thought the contracts had expired for the likes of Imray, Street, and Wells-Morrison etc. But they have all been retained, and its 3 different players in discussions over new contracts (both the Boatengs and Siddick). So some of the others must have secretly extended during the season? The lack of info from the club over our Academy boys is appalling. Even Transfermarket does not have anything against contract lengths. When Rak-Sayki signed his professional contract in April 2021, there was nothing about the length. I assumed 3 years? So his expires June 2024?? I wonder if its a ploy by the club to stop other clubs circling our young talent when the contracts start expiring?
