Please get a striker in. We cannot go through the season with Mateta and Edouard playing a half each whilst we try to work out who is the least useless of the pair. And for what it is work Ahamada is better than Demari Gray, so don't waste any money on him.

For injuries, Hughes took a nasty tackle from behind and had to be helped off the field. Mitchell also came off, not sure what happened to him.

In addition to a striker we need to strengthen at L & R back as we can’t rely on Mitchel and Ward and we also need a dominate CB who can deal with high balls in to the box. We also have to fill Zaha shoes. A busy few weeks ahead with last minute panic deals on last day of window as usual!

Hodgson said Richards was due to play in this game but pulled out of the game late owing to an injury. The other thing to note from the game is the bad tackle on Hughes which led to him being substituted.

I would be happy to see him stay and come on from the bench.
