I think some HOLers live in the Crawley area. The club is in a bad way.

When John Yems took over from Gabrielle Cioffi in 2019-20, Crawley were 17th in the League. The season ended after 37 games due to Covid with Crawley in 12th place but due to PPG they ended 13th.

The following season 2020-21 Crawley beat Leeds 3-0 in the FA Cup and finished the season in 12th place.

Season 2021-22 Yems was no longer in charge with 4 games remaining and Crawley finished in 12th place.

This season Kevin Betsy was appointed but removed of his duties after 12 games with the club rock-bottom of the table.
Lewis Young was appointed caretaker and took the club up to 19th place after 7 league games.
Matthew Etherington was appointed lasted 3 games and 32 days and left with the club in 20th place.
Darren Byfield has been appointed as caretaker, has been in charge for 2 games, a loss and a draw, both away, and Crawley now sit in 20th place.

I remember Steve Coppell being Director Of Football at Crawley Town probably about 10 years ago.

The board at Crawley refuse to engage in any dialogue, they will not agree to any proposed meetings with the fans who simply want to know what’s going on behind the scenes Lack of communication is not a good sign, Immediate future does not look good for Crawley Town FC.

is all a bit odd to say the least, the feeling is they have run out of money...got about 35 players on their books...sounds a bit like goldberg and venables...

They're justified, and they're ancient
And they drive an ice cream van

I am not privy to details of their finances, however I believe they signed 17 players in the last 'Window', 7 of those players on loan.

I recall seeing our team playing pre-season friendlies against them at both their old ground, 'Town Mead,' and at their current stadium.
