As long as he doesn't "do a Sol" and quit after two games when he realises the standard he's agreed to play at.

I agree,,our standard is pretty high,,hope he can keep up

I think Johnny was saying that our level is not good and that Edgar may think that he can do better at 37.

You obviously think our level is high, so you actually "dis"agree.

Wether you think he's up to still playing football or not, there's still so many other positives if he does sign.

Think about it, attendances might get a little boost due to people wanting to come see a world footballing legend play, plus other players may want to join Palace to have a chance to play along side him, there so many positives if this is true.

Sign him up Burley!

Amazing. I've always loved Super-Dav! So good to see him Twittering about Palace when we were in trouble a couple of months back too. He really wanted us to be safe and asked for updates from his followers.

you're right;

There were rumours about Davids going to Leicester AND Portsmouth last season... I'll believe it if and when it happens.

...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread...

He is a player I might have liked to have been signed 5 or 6 years ago in his prime, but now??? He's 37, he's not the quickest midfielder now and he's been out of football for two years...... is it really worth the risk????!!!

Red n' Blue through and through..........

BRING ON THE NEW REGIME!! 2010 The start of a bright new future.................. C'mon you Eagles!!!!!!

cant take this in.

having a player well that well
known around the world at palace can only be good for the club in many aspects

Where's the risk if he's on a small wage and it's a short-term contract?

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Could be a "pay as you play" deal. I think he'd be a great addition!
