He's not even in the country, let alone Beckenham! Well you're wrong there matey because i saw him with my very own eyes in Heathrow this morning. Don't be so quick to shoot people down in the future tough guy! Ooooooh!

Come on guys, he's 37, and contary to what "eritheagle" said hasn't played since April 2008, and played very few games in the 2007-8 season due to breaking a leg against Go Ahead Eagles in August 2007. Was a fabulous player in his time, but not sure he has the legs now day's, but if he has would be a colossus in the middle of the park, he's also a very nice guy.

Just one season of Davids in front of our backfour - breaking up the game and letting our younger midfielders deliver, will free Ambrose up to become a dedicated attacking midfielder. Don't need too much speed to sit in front and with Danns, Garvan and Dorman/Cadogan with Zaha/Lee as your attacking options, very interesting. Sign him up. Too good a risk NOT to take!
