Todays second download is more like a history lesson. It's a BBC broadcast of radio shows by The Animals which were originally recorded between 1964-67. This is a fantastic recording and the quality is superb considering the age of the material. The tracks include an intro and there are interviews included before some of the songs. The last few tracks were taken from recordings of the band while in the USA during 64-66. If you like The Animals then grab this one, it's got some great stuff on it....

Todays first download is a set by Yes that was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1998. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a tv broadcast. For some reason I don't like Igor Khoroshev on keyboards - I much prefer Rick Wakeman. This is still a good show though and sounds great and some Yes classics are played including the long track "The Revealing Science Of God" from Tales From Topographic Oceans. The rest of the band are all on great form including Billy Sherwood who was also on the tour playing guitar and also backing vocals. Another one for the Yes collection.....

Todays extra download is a set by Steppenwolf that was recorded at My Fathers Place in Old Roslyn, New York in February 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast. When I checked my files, I was amazed to see that this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted. This is a cracking show with the band on top form - and they play a great set which includes the classics "Magic Carpet Ride" and "Born To Be Wild"... This one rocks big time... thoroughly recommended..
