Todays first download is a set by Don McLean that was recorded in Manchester in 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I've posted a few bootlegs by DM in the past and this is another top sounding show. He plays his classic song "American Pie" as well as his other hit single "Vincent". This is only a short set, so I doubt if it's the whole show - probably all that was broadcast. If you like DM then grab this one - it's thoroughly recommended....

Todays second download is a set by Max Webster that was recorded in Barrie, Ontario, Canada in December 1980. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording. I've previously posted 3 bootlegs by this band - this is another top show, and I have another one for a few days time. The band is called Max Webster, but its only the name - there is no one called Max Webster. The lead guitarist and vocalist is Kim Mitchell and they play a kind of blues rock - which is superb. This is thoroughly recommended...
