obviously not jumping on staffies toes, but just to let anyone know (i know there are a few Yes fans on here) after downloading this, thanks again staffie, had a look on the Yes website and they have reissued The Yes Album, in 5.1 surround sound, just received , one of my favourite albums sounding even better, again just to let anyone know who may be interested, sorry staffie, back to you :-)
i'm hearing stuff on the Yes Album i've never heard before, i think it may well be Close to the edge pretty soon

Todays first download is a set by Hall & Oates that was recorded at the Baltimore Civic Center, Baltimore, Maryland on the 24th June 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a whole load of albums and bootlegs by Hall & Oates over the years and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. A good setlist with the hit single "She's Gone" being played. If you like Hall & Oates - then grab this one ... this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a recent set by Lionel Richie that was recorded at the Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival in Indio, CA on the 14th June 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Lionel performs some songs from his solo catalogue as well as a good dip into his Commodores catalogue. If you like Lionel Richie - then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by Kenny Wayne Shepherd that was recorded at the Worpswede Music Hall, Worpswede, Germany on the 7th May 2014. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted. Kenny Wayne Shepherd has been around since 1990 and has released several albums. He is married to Mel Gibson's daughter and they have 3 kids. KWS plays blues/rock guitar and does it very well - he is self taught and was inspired by the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan. If you know Kenny Wayne Shepherd then this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!.. staffie, Did a search for The Coral album, Butterfly House and see that you had posted the Acoustic version, but couldn't see the original album. Any chance? If this has been posted, sorry for the request. Gutted that I missed the acoustic version and all the live stuff you have posted. Only just got into them after hearing 1000 years in the film Svengali. Many Thanks

Todays first download is the first of many sets I will be posting from this years Glastonbury Festival. This is the set by Interpol which is in superb quality with the audio for the set being taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I recently posted the Interpol set from the Hurricane Festival in Germany and this is another top sounding show for your collections. Todays second download is a set by Wilko Johnson and Roger Daltrey that was recorded at two venues in London in February and June 2014. The fist part of the show was recorded at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on the 25th Feb 2014 and the second part was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall on the 26th March 2014 - there is also an interview with RD that was broadcast on the 30th June 2014. The quality of this bootleg is superb with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast/webcast of the shows. In January Wilko was diagnosed with terminal Pancreatic cancer and was given only months to live, he refused to undergo chemotherapy and carried on performing and recorded a top three album called "Going Back Home" which was released in March 2014. In May 2014 he underwent a nine hour operation where doctors successfully removed a pancreatic tumour. It had become apparent that the cancer was not as aggressive as first thought but without intervention he would have died. If you like Wilko Johnson - then grab this show - this is throroughly recommended... and then some...
