Todays first download is a set by The Outlaws that was recorded at the Stanley Theater, Pittsburgh, Pa on the 28th November 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've not posted anything by The Outlaws for well over a year now.. so it's nice to grab a new show. If you know the outlaws grab this one... it has a 21 minute version of the bands most well known song "Green Grass and High Tides" - Triple guitar that rocks big time... this is a wicked show and is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Simple Minds that was recorded in Aberdeen, Scotland on the 18th December 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of shows and albums by Simple Minds over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. The show was recorded while the band were touring on the New Gold Dream Tour of 1982. If you like Simple Minds - give this show a try... this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've not posted much by Ghost - on one other bootleg according to my files. If you grabbed that show and liked it - then give this one a go... If you like Ghost - this is thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by Roger Hodgson that was recorded in Lucca Italy on the 18th July 2012. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. Unfortunately, the italian DJ is all over this one like a rash and you hear his voice at the start and end of all tracks and it get very annoying. They are told to talk over the intros by the record companies in an attempt to stop bootlegging - according to the notes inside the file. The majority of the songs are ok, but some are completely ruined by his non stop verbal. However, if you like Roger Hodgson its still worth grabbing... Todays second download is the first bootleg or album by this artist that I've posted. This is Tinsley Ellis and a set played at Jazzbones, Tacoma, Washington in August 2009 - the exact date isnt listed. This is great stuff and a wicked show. Tinsley Ellis plays blues/rock guitar - and he is wicked - this is a great show. The quality of the recording is absolutely superb and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. If you know and like Tinsley Ellis - you are already downloading this show.. if you don't know Tinsley Ellis - do yourself a favour and give this a listed... you won't be disappointed I assure you.... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. The are called the Adventures and they are from Belfast and formed in 1983. This is a show recorded at the Dominion Theatre, London on the 25th October 1988 and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. The band split up in 1993 but have in recent years reformed to play a few low key gigs and shows in Belfast - but they haven't released any new studio albums. If you know The Adventures then grab this show.. if you don't - give them a try... Todays first download is a set by former Led Zep front man Robert Plant - with his latest band - The Sensational Space Shifters that was recorded at this years iTunes Festival at the Camden Roundhouse. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. I posted Robert's set from Glastonbury earlier this year - this is another crackin' set with a few tracks from RP's LZ catalogue. If you like Robert Plant - then grab this show..this is the mutts and thoroughly recommended.. I will be posting more sets from this years iTunes Fest.. if they are all like this there's gonna be some great shows... Todays second download is a set by Motorhead that was recorded at the Coachella Music And Arts Festival, Indio, CA on the 20th April 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted quite a few albums and bootlegs by Motorhead over the years - they always put on a good show an this is no exception. A classic set which ends with the classic "Ace Of Spades". If you like Motorhead then grab this show and the air guitar... this rocks big time... thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by the Foo Fighters that was recorded at the Bud Light Amphitheatre, New York on the 1st February 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted quite a few bootlegs and albums by the Foo Fighters over the years - this is another top sounding bootleg for the collection. This is not the full set apparently, there are some songs that were not recorded. However, its still a wicked set and if you like FF this is thoroughly recommended...
