Todays extra download is a set by Jason And The Scorchers that was recorded at the Irving Plaza, New York on the 8th March 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They come from Nashville, TN and are referred to as "Fathers of Cowpunk" - a blend of country and rock.. although this show sounds more like the Ramones as the band belt through 15 songs in only 42 minutes!. This band are great fun and the audience love it... If you don't know this band - give this show a try.. what have you got to lose ?
