Cheers mr apollo. I remember in the days before staffie really had it nailed when the requests where for multiple songs as opposed to albums. In those days (about 10 or so years ago) there were quite a few of us that used to help and upload content although the site was much smaller then.

I am not sure staffie can be replaced by one single person I think the work load would just be too much but would happy to be part of a group all chipping in when we can.

Thanks to some good friends in the HOL I now have staffies back catalog so am going to repost some favourites from his huge collection.

Here's today's offering please give me any feedback on downloading problems or ideas for good fileshare sites.

I apologise in advance that the service won't be as good as his but he had a lot more time to spend on this than I do.

I am prepared however to post requests IF it is just for a particular band, and ONLY IF it is available in the catalog as I said sorry but I just don't have the time staffie did.

Today is just a test, so no track listings until I can automate this.

So nice to see the MP3 thread back where it belongs, and I hope that we can take it over the 1,000,000 hits for staffie in it's somewhat revised format.
If anyone has time on their hands and wants to find and post requests that would be great and much appreciated.

In the meanwhile I will post an album or two a day from staffies' great legacy which he left me. If you have a favourite band and it's here I will try to post an album of theirs for you.

Mr A's considerable efforts (and others) has led to this welcome return of the most popular HOL thread.

Mr A's efforts in getting it re-started are to be applauded.

Just remember,

Mr A has little spare time, unlike the staffmeister, who worked full-time and overtime on the thread. Please give him a few weeks to get used to what's available from the archives.

To that end, recent albums (after March 2015) will not be available. Try to keep requests to pre 2015 releases.

Feedback is good for Mr A. If the download won't work, or just a simple 'thanks' is always appreciated.
