thanks for the kinks. Saw them at Glastonbury in 1993. My dad spoke to a bloke in a golf club bar some 30 years ago. Turns out it was Ray Davies. Also, thanks for the Rush Mr A
As for copying/transferring stuff, Del and Eagleman13 could try a large Tesco store. Last week they transferred a Woodstock1994 VHS tape for me to deeveedee. Cost was £28 for a 3 hour tape, but they also did a fantastic job of a colour photocopy of the cover, which is better than the original (fck knows how) Am sure they do audio tape transfers and other stuff.

Mr A, please keep up the good work of random bands.
I think a lot of regular posters on the MP3 thread had their record collection transferred to digital by staffie. Therefore, requests are lower. (plus, modern music is 5hlt )
this is the website which can assist in getting stuff transferred. Max Spielman (based in big Tesco stores)
They will transfer copyrighted material and even copy the sleeve for your CD/DVD case, as long as you provide the original. Not too sure they even check that. just don't take in 'specialist' VHS tapes like eagleman13 wanted to. You might get arrested.

I used to have a compilation CD from the 1990's, largely based on Dance hits. Cannot find the CD, or listed on Amazon or ebay. So no title, and it's a compilation.
But can I ask for any greatest hits of the 1990's that Mr.A may come across.? I'm sure anything would be fine. In fact a GH from the 1970's and 80's would be good too, if you can find them.
So all the rules broken, but if you don't ask, the answer is already 'no'.
